I became aware of this play about 15 years ago and absolutely fell in love with the first Act, which is completely different from the rest of the play. Because of the structure of the play and the overlapping dialogue, staging and rehearsals had unexpected challenges. Thanks to an amazing cast, we worked hard and also had a great deal of fun. To Carolyn, Rox, Shelley, and Heidi: thanks for all your talents and contributions to this production. Since this could well be my last time in the director chair for Stage Left, I am so glad it has been such a joyous experience.
