Director's Note

Thank you for letting us tell this "Terrific" tale to you again! This adaptation of E.B.White's classic story was originally staged by the Lincoln Center as a traveling show using only 6 actors. We opened up the casting here to provide more roles for children, many of whom will be acting for the first time. We are also welcoming many adult newcomers to Stage Left. Watching all this fresh talent develop has made this a delightful rehearsal process. Everyone has worked hard and it has been fun to see the progress the actors made from rehearsal to rehearsal. I would like to thank the cast for their commitment, Shelley Jacobs for her excellent handling of innumerable details, Greg West and Carolyn Richards for the talent they bring to costuming and design, and all those who contributed their time and resources to make this show happen. A very special thanks to United Country Premier Brokers for their partial sponsorship of this production.
